A typical New Year’s resolution for Christians is to “read the whole Bible in one year.” This is a noble goal, but many experience failure. Does this resolution come from a place of wanting God to dwell closely with us, or perhaps from one of achievement? What if instead of reading the whole Bible in one year, we read one Bible verse for the whole year?!
