“Following Jesus” Course
A Lutheran introduction to the Christian life, using the Gospel of Mark.

About the event
When:
Five consecutive Tuesday nights, starting 23 January, 7–8pm.
Where:
Via Zoom (online video call).
A link will be emailed to everyone who RSVPs.
What:
During the course we’ll discover important Lutheran emphasises, by reading together key passages in the Gospel of Mark and discussing.
We’ll cover topics such as:
- baptism,
- forgiveness,
- the place of suffering (theology of the cross),
- Holy Communion, and
- good works (living as a follower of Jesus).
Who:
For anyone interested in what it means to follow Jesus.
You could be:
- curious about Jesus but not sure who he is,
- a new Christian,
- someone new to the Lutheran Church, or
- anyone wanting to grow in your walk with Jesus.
